Most importantly, I finally got a job. I can pay my rent now, woo! And buy crap, yay!

Unfortunately, the friends I practically live with lost their internet (because they're just as poor as me with bigger bills), so I haven't been online in about a week.

On a better note, I've been playing some more with media servers and my n800, and the results have been pretty cool. I can stream music and video with pretty much no hitches beyond organization and, depending on the network, router, distance, etc. a bit of a gap between songs/videos. I discovered a while ago that the n800 os2008 will treat a upnp server like a filesystem, too.

The more I learn, the more fun things get.

EDIT:
I've been using a MediaTomb server, if anyone's curious. It's really easy to set up and configure.
